Farming...Halp! Empty Farming...Halp!

I need more ideas for farming, i know 1.8 is going to have more things such as watermellon and stuff but i just wanna make sure i'm not missing anything in 1.7
the farms that i do have are
1. Wheat
2. Mob
3. mushroom (brown)
4. Cacti

If anyone would be willing to spare at least one sugarcane or one red mushroom it would be much apreciated Very Happy
